Odesa Sea Port Authority Continues Comprehensive Grounds Improvement and Infrastructure Restoration
A comfortable, safe, and well-maintained environment — this is the vision that the Port of Odesa is steadily bringing to life. At the initiative of the Head of the Odesa Branch of the State Enterprise "Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority", Dmytro Nazarenko, improvement works are ongoing to modernize the port's territory and make it more convenient for employees, partners, and visitors.
Within the port lies Devolanivska Street, a place closely connected with the history of Odesa. According to one legend, this is where the city itself began. Today, this historic street is gradually being given a new lease of life.
The Port's Repair and Construction Department is carrying out a comprehensive improvement project. This includes the installation of 20 street lamps designed in the style of historic urban lighting, 85% of which have already been installed. At the same time, workers are replacing the curb stones along the street.
In the near future, two flower beds near Administration Building No. 3 will also be redesigned in the company's corporate style, becoming another feature of the renewed public space.
Another important priority is the restoration of administrative buildings damaged by missile and drone attacks. To date, more than 500 window units have already been replaced. A significant portion of this work has been carried out through cooperation with the Global Empowerment Mission, supported by the Howard G. Buffett Foundation. Approximately 200 more windows are scheduled for replacement.
