For International Tourism Day
The Odesa Port is not only Ukrainian main maritime gateway but also a true open-air museum. In 2020, the Odesa Port and the legendary Vorontsov Lighthouse were officially recognized as tourist attractions of the city. Its iconic structures have long become a hallmark of Odesa, and the harbor itself serves as a point of tourist interest for visitors from all over the world.
In peacetime, walking and bus tours were held here for Odesa residents and visitors, introducing them to the port’s operations, its history, and architectural landmarks, and revealing unique aspects of its maritime heritage.
We believe that as soon as the security situation in the Black Sea stabilizes, cruise ships will return to Odesa, and sightseeing routes will resume operation. After Victory, everything will certainly be revived!
Today, on International Tourism Day, let us remember that the Odesa Port is not only an important economic asset but also an integral part of our country’s cultural heritage.
