The Odesa branch of SE “USPA” participated in the international exhibition BALTEXPO 2025 in Gdańsk.
The management of the Odesa branch of SE “Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority” participated in the International Maritime and Military Fair BALTEXPO 2025, held in Gdańsk, Poland.
As part of the event, a roundtable discussions of maritime and port industry representatives was held, during which the Acting Head of the Odesa branch of SE “USPA,” Dmytro Nazarenko, delivered a report on the activities of Ukrainian ports under martial law.
In his speech, he informed that since the beginning of the full-scale aggression, over 500 port infrastructure facilities and 116 civilian vessels have been damaged or destroyed, 157 civilians have been affected, and 161 facilities on the territory of the Odesa Sea Port itself have been damaged.
Special attention was given to the operation of the Ukrainian corridor, thanks to which, since August 2023, the ports of Greater Odesa have handled over 146.5 million tons of cargo and serviced 5,596 vessels. In particular, the Odesa Port handled 1,528 vessels.
- “Despite all challenges, Ukrainian seaports remain an integral part of the country’s economic resilience. Their security is not only a matter of logistics but also of the survival of Ukraine’s export model,” stated Dmytro Nazarenko.
During the event, infrastructure projects of the Odesa Port and plans for their further implementation were also presented. Dmytro Nazarenko invited international investors to cooperate.
