THE ODESA SEA PORT AUTHORITY HELD A WORKING MEETING WITH THE DELEGATION OF THE KLAIPEDA STATE SEAPORT AUTHORITY
Within the framework of the BaltExpo 2025 - International Maritime and Military Fair (Poland), the management of the Odesa branch of SE “USPA” held a working meeting with representatives of the Klaipėda State Seaport Authority (Lithuania).
During the meeting was discussed the operation of the Odesa port under the martial law, including the functioning of the Ukrainian Grain corridor, as well as the challenges posed by the ongoing attacks on port infrastructure.
The parties emphasized the importance of international support, partnership, and the exchange of experience.
As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached on a visit by the Management staff of the Klaipėda Port to the port of Odesa, scheduled for early 2026. The main AIM OF THE VISIT IF to familiarize with the Odesa port operations, urgent needs and investment opportunities. During this visit, it is planned to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at strengthening the partnership and exchanging experience to develop port infrastructure at the international level.
