THE MANAGEMENT OF THE ODESA CITY MILITARY ADMINISTRATION, HEADED BY SERHII LYSAK, PAID A WORKING VISIT TO THE ODESA BRANCH OF THE SE ‘USPA’

As part of the visit, an extended working meeting was held with the participation of representatives of the port’s stevedoring companies. The parties discussed cooperation between the Odesa Branch of the SE ‘USPA’ and the city authorities regarding joint areas of activity that affect the functioning of both the port and the city.

Among the key topics were the business sector’s pressing issues, including overly regulated procedures, logistical challenges, development plans of the stevedoring companies, as well as matters related to the protection of critical infrastructure.

— Today’s circumstances require even greater consolidation and for us to act as a single team in addressing various issues. The Odesa Sea Port Authority is ready to support any initiatives that contribute to the development and prosperity of both the port and the city, — emphasized Dmytro Nazarenko, Head of the Odesa Sea Port Authority.

Serhii Lysak, Head of the Odesa City Military Administration, emphasized the importance of partnership between the authorities and businesses: — Business must be a reliable partner to the city, and the city must be a reliable partner to business. Together, we can do more for the Defense Forces and for the stable operation of the port. We are ready to assist in resolving issues that fall within our competence. The key to success is constant dialogue and direct communication.

Following the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their readiness for continued cooperation and the implementation of joint decisions aimed at ensuring the stable operation of both the port and the city.
