During the visit, Dmytro Nazarenko, Acting Head of the Odesa Sea Port Authority, presented the port’s infrastructure capabilities and production capacities, as well as outlined plans for the development of key infrastructure projects. Special attention during the meeting was given to investment projects currently under implementation and those planned for the future. The discussion also covered measures to enhance security within the port amid wartime conditions.
In addition, the parties discussed opportunities for establishing cooperation with the Port of Linz - the largest river port on the Danube and an important cargo and industrial hub in Austria. In particular, the discussions focused on experience exchange and the potential professional development of specialists from the Odesa Sea Port Authority.
— We are grateful that, despite the war, many Austrian companies continue their activities in Ukraine, demonstrate dynamic economic engagement, and invest in the Ukrainian economy. In this regard, the Port of Odesa is always open to cooperation, — emphasized Dmytro Nazarenko.
